"Georgia's Calendar of Bridges" is a collection of artistic photographs of Georgia's remaining historic covered bridges, originally built from 1840-1915, by artist and photographer Brian Crum. Originally produced in 1996 along with other media, the collection features bridges originally built mostly with slave labor and from original bridge plans from master covered bridge builder and former slave Horace King. The collection includes the only remaining bridge credited to King in Georgia, The Big Red Oak Bridge, originally built in 1840. It was the story of Horace King that provided much of the inspiration for the Calendar.
